Trailer Review:
[Reviewed by: Alex Miller]

I don’t remember the last time I laughed this hard at a trailer. Oh wait yes I do. It was when I saw the first trailer for Hobo With A Shotgun. That fake trailer was so good it won the Grindhouse fake trailer contest and they decided to make a real movie out of it. So here is the first real trailer for the real movie made because of a fake trailer. Still with me? So yeah, if the title alone didn’t make you go straight to Fandango and buy your ticket, that “I am tired. Need $ for Lawnmower.” sign should have. I’m the kind of guy who loves watching the kind of movies this is paying homage to. The “So bad it’s good.” element here is just too good to be true. I’m 10x more excited to see this than Machete. In fact, I thought that was probably the weakest of the faux trailers, although the actual movie is getting pretty decent reviews. It is odd to say I feel more comfortable in the hands of first-time director Jason Eisener than Robert Rodriguez but I do. Rodriguez has been hit or miss for me. Eisener has gone to great lengths to keep the look/feel of this movie true. He even set up a library of old 70’s/80’s cult movies for the cast/crew to study while filming. I can’t wait to see this.
